The finale of Miss Botswana 2022 was held on 22nd October 2022 at the Fairscape Precinct in Gaborone where Lesego Chombo was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Botswana at Miss World 2022.

Lesego Chombo bested nine other finalists to be crowned Miss Botswana 2022. Chombo is 24 years of age and hails from Maun. The stunning beauty holds a law degree from the University of Botswana and is currently a practicing attorney at the High Court of Botswana.

The newly crowned Miss Botswana 2022 Lesego Chombo’s court included –

First Runner-up – Tshepo Nthaga

Second Runner-up – Sebaga Manyapetsa

Chombo’s BWAP was widely appreciated at the pageant. She aims to create a conducive environment for the development of underprivileged children. Chombo also hosted a recreational outing for children in need where she gave medical checks, educational activities introduction to instrument playing, art lessons, validation sessions, and more.

Miss Botswana 2021 Palesa Molefe crowned Chombo as her successor at the end of the event finale. The pageant was also attened by the reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska from Poland.
