Deise is not new to pageantry as she was the winner of Miss Paraná 2018 and represented her state at Miss Brasil 2018 where she was highly appreciated for her performance. She stepped into the beauty pageant world when she was 15-years-old and had worked in China for many years. She is always excited for any assignment or opportunity that has come along her way in which she has been able to perform her best and achieve her goal. She has also represented her country in Miss Teen International 2017 and was adjudged as the first runner-up at the end of the event finale. She explained that she feels good about it as she really gained a lot of experience and perspective in life.

During her stint at Miss Brasil 2019, Deise stated, “I entered the beauty pageant world for many reasons. However, the main reason, is so that I can use my voice to help autistic kids find the right treatment especially if they don’t have enough money to pay for the treatments.” She believes that beauty pageants have always helped in giving divas a platform where they can voice out their opinions and something, they are passionate about. She wants to use the platform to share her passion, create awareness the non-profit organization that she founded for helping the autistic kids.

The diva describes herself as a fun-loving and a free-spirited woman, and mentions that she is always looking for a chance to step out of her comfort zone and speak to the need to care for the people surrounding her community. Sharing her story in one of her interviews, she mentioned, “Five years ago, a little boy named Gabriel changed my life. He is autistic and he made me see the world in a different way. Sharing time with him and his mother made me see how hard their reality is.” After meeting Gabriel and his mother, Deise decided to raise awareness and create opportunities for autistic kids as she wants them and their family to feel comfortable in life. She also wants them to talk about their hardships that they are facing in order to inspire other such people. The diva believes that beauty pageants helps in creating opportunities and sponsorship that could help her spread her cause.

She hopes that she will bring something different to the stage this time around not only as an individual, but as a signal for progressive change. She strongly believes that beauty pageants are more than showcasing one’s physical beauty and opportunities like these would be great for any woman which wishes to give a positive opinion to the world. She can be a strong candidate to represent Brasil at Miss Universe 2020 stage.

Deise has charisma, presence and knows how to stand out in a group of a people and that’s why she would be a great representative for Brasil as she will focus on making her own standing at the competition. The diva mentioned that she likes to feel beautiful, confident, and empowered and beauty pageants have helped her achieve that and she keens on doing that in future as well. The diva is very strict towards her health and fitness and you’d see her working out and practicing healthy eating food habits for it. She also works on her body angles, postures, confidence, on-stage walk, and communication skills which she believes will help her during the competition if she decides to participate. She can be a strong contender for the title and can represent Brazil at Miss Universe 2020 stage.
