The coronation night of Miss Brasil Terra 2022 (Miss Brazil Earth 2022) was held on Wednesday, 12th October 2022 at the Sheraton São Paulo WTC Hotel where Jessica Pedroso, Miss São Paulo 2022, was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Brazil at Miss Earth 2022.
Jessica Pedroso bested 26 other contestants to win Miss Earth Brazil crown. Jessica is 23 years of age and a fashion model by profession. A bilingual, Jessica holds a degree in letters and comes from a family of educators.
Her social project ‘seeds of good’ aims to educate children from municipal, public, rural, and suburban schools about their importance and how we can change the world if we are united for a greater cause, thus becoming the guardians of good for our future.

Former queens Deise Nunes (Miss Brasil 1986), Patrícia Godoi (Miss Brasil 1991), Júlia Gama (Miss Brasil 2020 and Miss Universe first runner-up), and Teresa Santos (Miss Universo Brasil 2021) were part of the judging panel. Amazonians Priscilla Meirelles (Miss Earth 2004) and Larissa Ramos (Miss Earth 2009) gave a special message during the show remotely.
Miss Earth Brazil 2022 is the first edition of the Miss Brasil Terra pageant under the leadership of businessman Marcelo Riformato as executive director. Jessica succeeds Miss Earth Brazil 2021 Cássia Adriane Araújo represented Brazil at Miss Earth 2021 but unfortunately failed to place in the Top 20.
