The Miss British Virgin Islands organization hosted its coronation ceremony for the 2021 edition of Miss British Virgin Islands on 17 October 2021, at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium in the H. Lavity Stoutt Comunity College (HLSCC) at Paraquita Bay, Tortola in the Virgin Islands. Stunning delegates from all over the country competed for the national crown and an opportunity to represent the country at the upcoming edition of Miss World pageant. Kathlyn Archibald-Drew was crowned as Miss British Virgin Islands 2021 at the end of the event finale. She also won the Miss Intellect award at the pageant. She succeeds Miss British Virgin Islands 2019 Rikkiya Brathwaite for the title as the pageant could not be held last year due to COVID-19.

The 20-year-old is currently a student at Howard University and publishes her thoughts on her blog,” Thatssokathlyn.com”, where she talks about all things, from literature to economics. You name it! She is also passionate about creating music and has her own YouTube channel where she’s been uploading music covers since 2019.
In an emotional post, she wrote,” Words cannot begin to describe how shocked yet elated I felt being crowned Miss British Virgin Islands last evening.

Kathlyn Archibald-Drew will now represent the Islands at the 70th Miss World competition to be held in Puerto Rico, where reigning Miss World, Toni-Ann Singh will crown her successor on December 16,2021 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, José Miguel Agrelot.
