Miss Cameroun 2022, the 15th edition of the national pageant, is all set to be held on 7th January 2022 at the Yaoundé Sports Palace where delegates from all over the country will compete for the national crown and will represent Cameroon at Miss World 2022. Audrey Monkam Miss Cameroun 2021 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

While the 2022 edition boasts of talented and stunning beauties, few of the ladies have stood out to us as potential queens for the crown. Let’s meet the frontrunners of the competition.

Madeng Raissa

Madeng boasts of a powerful portfolio as a pageant veteran, she represented Cameroon at Miss Earth 2021. Although she remained unplaced at the event, she did a fabulous job as Miss Earth Cameroon 2021. She was the first runner up at Miss Nord Cameroun 2021 and also finished with the same fate at Miss Beach Cameroon 2021.

The CEO and founder of Association Terres DU Sahel and Festival International Sahel hopes to ‘aspire and inspire without any expiration,’ annotating to the power of recycling. She is definitely a strong contender for this year’s title.

Njoh Bonguen costadina Brunelle

This 22 year old beauty is a first year student of Masters in Logistics and Transport Management degree. Brunelle is not new to the world of pageantry, just past year, she bagged the first runner up position at Miss Littoral 2021 and is now on her way to the crown as a finalist on Miss Cameroon 2022.

With her elegance and charm, the diva has won everyone’s heart at the competition so far and now awaits her destiny as the finale comes closer.

Etaba Sonia

Etaba Sonia is one of the leading ladies on Miss Cameroon competition this year. She is a model by profession and has worked with the likes of Afro Yaca Drum, a clothesline based in Tsinga, Yaoundé, Cameroon and Ems Top Model, a multicultural fashion and lifestyle platform.

Sonia was a student of Public Health-Epidemiology at ISTM and went to Jean-Tabi for her college studies. This enchanting beauty is also a fan favourite and has been receiving immense support from pageant fanatics, making her a strong choice for the national crown.

Nkuimi Loveline

Nkuimi Loveline has been a pure delight on the competition so far, thus forging her way into our favourites. In recent past, the diva won the title of Miss Ouest 2021 and is also a judo practitioner. She believes physical activity is beneficial at all ages and children should rather be encouraged to develop healthy habits early on.

The diva advocates for maternal health and continuously strives to spread more awareness about the same. “While, in developed countries, pregnancy is a normal and healthy condition for women in the age of having children, for women in the developing world each pregnancy poses a risk of death and disability. In developing countries, possible complications that occur before, during and after childbirth are often fatal,” her one such campaign statement read.

Ngounou Bahiol Yvette Serena

One of the strongest candidates for this years’ title is Ngounou Bahiol Yvette Serena. Serena is also one of the fan favourites as fans want to see her alluring face on the international stage. She is also not new the beauty world, she was previously crowned as Miss Cameroon Senegal 2019.

Ngounou Bahiol Yvette Serena is a content creator, if that says anything about her creative side! She is sure going to give a tough competition to rest of the ladies on the coming finale.
