Season of departures at Miss Cameroun 2022

Miss Cameroun 2022, the 15th edition of the national pageant, is all set to be held on 7th January 2022 at the Yaoundé Sports Palace where delegates from all over the country will compete for the national crown and will represent Cameroon at Miss World 2022. Audrey Monkam Miss Cameroun 2021 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

While the finale is just a day away and most candidates are under vigorous preparation for the D-day, some have announced their resignation from their delegation.

“It is with deep regret and so much hurt that I announce to my supporters, my family, well-wishers and the general public my decision to withdraw from the upcoming Miss Cameroon 2021-2022 competition coming up on the 7th of January 2022,” said Tamasang Zita Ngenwie in an official statement announcing her withdrawal. She is the second runner up of Miss North West 2021-2022.

“This decision, a necessary and painful one has been occasioned by circumstances beyond my control. I urge my supporters, family and friends to bear with me. There are better days ahead. Wishing the best of luck to my sisters in the competition. Thank you all so much for your support. God bless your kind souls,” she further added.

In a similar statement by Melissa Masso who was competing from dauphine EST, it was revealed, “It is with many regrets and heart filled with sadness that I announce my withdrawal from the Miss Cameroon 2022 contest. I would like to thank you for all the unwavering support. This decision was not easy but it comes from reasons beyond my control.”

“hello my loves sorry for this bad news but I'm a quitter from the competition miss Cameroon at j-j-2 it's really not easy for me, it's for personal reasons good luck for others,” shared Yvonne Nguiviassi on her social media.

Effectively, the competition now has three less candidates vying for the national crown. The remaining delegates competing for the title are Atem Mbongue Noella, Nkabiwala Maryam, Njoh Bonguen costadina Brunelle, Nkuimi Loveline, Assoumou Edima Samantha Julia, Lambi Tenneh Noella Prandy, Fon Achu Marion, Ngounou Bahiol Yvette Serena, Wonje Eyidi Ruth Annette, Diyani Kanga Martiale, Sondi Marthe Emmanuelle, Nadongue Onana Brigitte, Mbony Blessing, Ngankam Elsie, Tamasang Zita Ngenwie, Boumtje Serges, Nsoga Penda Marguerite Audrey, Kamfing Stephanie, Etaba Sonia, Amougou Betama, Njanga Eke Lydienne, Matuekam Maelise, Nseng Zang Cecile Armelle, Nga Mfono Rose Ange Marie, Makowa Fogno Michelle Darelle, Ezeti Tizi Augustine, Mandeng Raissa, Masso Nkolo Lauren Melissa, Ndoudja Amadou, Atta Fabiola and Nguiviassi Yvonne.
