The finale of the 16th edition of Miss Cameroun 2023 (Miss Cameroon 2023) was held on Saturday, 12th November 2022 at the Palais Polyvalent des Sports de Yaoundé where Ndoun Issie Marie Princesse was crowned the new queen. She is now expected to represent Cameroon at the Miss Universe pageant.
Ndoun Issie Marie Princesse is 22 years of age and a management student and breast cancer advocate representing Littoral. Ndoun bested 18 other finalists to win the national crown. The newly crowned Miss Cameroun 2023 Ndoun Issie Marie Princesse’s court included –
1st Runner-up – Monalisa Muketey Jelly Miss SouthWest
2nd Runner-up – Raissa Ngueuleu Zollo Miss Ouest
On winning the national crown, Ndoun took to the official social media of Miss Cameroun as she wrote, “We've made it. The battle was a tough one, but we held the course. You have had my back a thousand and a ways against winds and tides. My absolute gratitude goes to each and every one of you for the unwavering support to my humble self. Thanks to the First Lady who graced us with her presence at the Grand National Final and provided valuable advice to carry out my mandate. This is the opportunity for me to thank COMICA warmly, for allowing me to participate in this beautiful human adventure, thrilling and full of lessons.”
