24 years old Monyque Brooks hailing from West Bay is one of the finalists of Miss Cayman Islands 2016. Monyque’s life has been deeply influenced by her love for Caymanian arts, culture and heritage. She is set on leaving her footprint in the local arts industry through participation in major programmes and festivals.

Monyque has a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, and is currently involved in working with the Department of Tourism. She is involved in the National Cultural Foundation’s events, and is a part of the Cayman Islands Dance Company, to name a few. Becoming the next Miss Cayman Island is not just a lifelong dream for Monyque.
