After much postponement, the debut edition of Miss Charm, i.e. Miss Charm 2023, was held tonight i.e. 16th February 2023 at HOA BINH Theater, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam with much ado and cheer from the audience. Amidst a grand ‘red-themed’ backdrop and almost a no-glitch production, Miss Charm organization held its first ever finale.

From the beginning of the pageant as the contestants arrived in Vietnam, the organization made sure that the contestants feel welcomed in the host country. Thirty-eight contestants came to Vietnam to win the Miss Charm crown for their country but at the end of the event finale, Luma Russo of Brazil bagged the first ever Miss Charm crown.

The pageant was held in the Top 20 – Top 10 – Top 6 – Top 3 format. The results were almost as predicted; almost all the contestants from the finale hot picks list made it to the first cut. After that, it was best left in the hands of the panel of jury who made a smart choice all-in-all. Philippines’s Annabelle McDonnell was a fan-favourite and predictably, won the 1st runner-up position while Indonesia’s Olivia Tan impressed everyone with her oratory skills and content, placing as the 2nd Runner-up.

The finale also saw an interesting way of announcing the Top 3 contestants - Thao Trang, a very talented artist, was called on the stage to sketch the portrait of the Top 3, live, on stage which kept the audience captured. The remarkable and distinctive crown was given to the winner, designed by Ricardo Patraca.
