The debut edition of Miss Charm, i.e. Miss Charm 2023, was held tonight i.e. 16th February 2023 at HOA BINH Theater, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where Luma Russo of Brazil was crowned as the new winner. After months of preparation, Luma made history by becoming the first-ever Miss Charm.
Luma Russo bested thirty-seven other beauties to win the Miss Charm 2023 crown. She was the most confident and most fluent orator out of all the competing queens. Being a pilot by profession, Luma spoke and walked on the stage confidently which made her stand out since the beginning of the competition. The newly crowned Miss Charm 2023’s court included –
1st Runner-up – Annabelle McDonnell of Philippines
2nd Runner-up – Olivia Tan of Indonesia
The hosts for the evening were Karina Ramos, Phuong Mai, Quynh Nga while Thao Trang was the performer at the event. Two special awards were also presented at Miss Charm 2023 finale; Best in National Costume was won by Sotheary By of Cambodia and Best in Ao Dai was won by Aluong Bulkoch of South Sudan.
Top 6 also included Juliana Habib Lorduy (Colombia), Luyanda Zuma (South Africa), Lady Di Mosquera (Venezuela) while Top 10 also included Julieta García (Argentina), Andrea Montero (Costa Rica), Valentina Campion (Dominican Republic), Alejandra Pagan (Puerto Rico).
Top 20 also included Anahí Hormazábal Garay (Chile), Li Mengli (China), Shannen Jade Totten (Malaysia), Karen Bustos (Mexico), Sylwia Bober (Poland), Anna Baksheeva (Russia), Larissa Han (South Korea), Patitta Suntivij (Thailand), Anastasiia Panova (Ukraine), Thanh Thanh Huyen (Vietnam).
The accomplished panel of jury who was in-charge of crowning Miss Charm 2023 are Nguyen Thi Thúy Nga – Chairman of the jury and CEO of Elite Company Vietnam, Natalie Glebova – Miss Universe 2005 from Canada, Mireia Lalaguna – Miss World 2015 from Spain, Tran Ngoc Lan Khuê – Vietnamese actress and Miss World Vietnam 2015, Ikumi Yoshimatsu – Miss International 2012 from Japan, Mimi Morris – Vietnamese-American Entrepreneur and Irene Zhao – Singaporean model and influencer.
