The organization of Nuestra Belleza Puerto Rico has appointed Alejandra Pagán Crespo as the new Miss Charm Puerto Rico 2020 and she will be representing Puerto Rico at Miss Charm International 2020/21which is scheduled to take place next year. She is very excited to take over the crown duties and represent Puerto Rico at international stage in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Alejandra Pagan who studies communication at the Arecibo University Campus, feels that it is an honor and an enormous responsibility that she has been appointed to represent the home country at international stage. She has mentioned, "I want to know and discover other cultures through the candidates who will accompany me in this process and witness a contest that rewards beauty that is complemented by education, in order to highlight the tourism of their country and reaffirm the advances that they have been made in favor of women”.
The diva is very excited and grateful for being responsible for showing the world that beauty on the island does not lie only in the landscapes, but in the welcome of the people. On asking about what does winning the title of Miss Charm International 2020/21 means to her, she responded, “To win Miss Charm crown would be the first of all an honor but most importantly, it would be an opportunity that I would have to bear with responsibility.”
Alejandra believes that one should surround oneself with people who support you, and if you can't find them, be supportive of others, eventually you will receive what you give. She is strong, confident, determined, and focused towards winning the title for her country. She has started to prepare for the competition and has mentioned, "I come with a different preparation, more complete and with knowledge that I did not previously have. Together with the work team we will focus on those details that we can improve to obtain the victory. For my part, I take advantage of the knowledge that the university offers me to be prepared in the intellectual part. Establishing an agenda between university and preparation is the key.”
The diva has been a part of recognized competition on the island a year and a half ago where she was adjudged as the first finalist. She is beautiful and has impressed everyone with utmost confidence, grace, and focus towards winning. She could be a strong contender at Miss Charm International 2020 stage and has assured that she would perform her best at the stage and make the people of Puerto Rico proud.
