Sabrina Janssen won the title of Miss Colorado USA 2017 during the state finale held on 23rd October, 2016 at the Union Colony Civic Center in Greeley, Colorado. She has been a pageant girl since four years and says, "It was such a surreal moment for my family and I to see all of my hard work pay off.”

The 21 year old Sabrina Janssen belongs to Denver and has always dreamt to win the coveted crown and is a full time model since her teens. She also has travelled across the country as well as internationally for modeling and wishes to continue her journey in modeling in the future as well. She is thankful for her state to provide her the right guidance and financial help to go to the next level of becoming Miss USA 2017 and says, “To assist me in my preparation for the national pageant, the state pageant and their team of official pageant sponsors have generously provided with numerous financial resources, wardrobe items, training and preparation, as well as all of my travel, lodging and meals for the national pageant.”

Janssen is determined to work for the rising issues of body imaging and wants to make use of her title to serve the society in the best way possible. She says, “As Miss Colorado USA I have already had many opportunities to go out into the community and make a difference! I have donated my time with the Salvation Army as well as spoken to young women about confidence and empowering one another. I hope to continue doing this through my reign!”

Colorado has rarely produced Miss USA finalists, but has been one of the top four USA states to win the Miss Photogenic two times in the pageant history. The confident Sabrina Janssen says, "It's time to put Colorado back on the map, and I would love to be the first woman from this incredible state to bring the title of Miss USA home!" The Miss USA 2017 pageant is going to happen in June, 2017, so let’s see if Sabrina will bring the crown for her state Colorado for the very first time.
