Miss Connecticut USA crowned their new queen on 5th January 2019 at The Palace Theatre Stamford, Connecticut. The newly crowned queen Miss Connecticut USA 2019 is Acacia Courtney. With her talent, she has managed to receive all the rights to officially represent her state Connecticut in Miss USA 2019. If she manages to secure the title of Miss USA 2019, she will get an opportunity to show her calibre and walk in for the Miss Universe 2019 and make her country more known and proud by her achievement.
Acacia a young 26-year old diva being the new queen of her state, has also excelled much in one of her favourite sports that is racing. In 2011 she founded Racing for Home, a non-profit organization, which is dedicated to repurposing Off-Track Thoroughbreds for brand new careers after the racetrack. The mission finally gave rise to a full-blown passion for the sport of racing. Well, she had also secured herself in Top 16 in Miss Connecticut 2014.
On the other side, she is also an accomplished dancer and feels that dancing is an activity that actually recreates mind and freshens it up entirely. She has also studied with the Joffrey Ballet and American Ballet Theatre and laboured in partnership with diverse charities and companies as a public speaker and ambassador. Acacia is holding up a diploma degree from Fordham University, where she majored in Journalism.
Acacia was crowned by Miss Connecticut USA 2018 Jamie Hughes. Jamie represented Connecticut in Miss USA 2018, but unfortunately, she was unable to secure a position in the grand finale. While crowning, the outgoing queen was overwhelmed with happiness to have found the right successor. Acacia took her happiness and emotions to her social media accounts and wrote, “Is this real?! I am beyond humbled, honoured, and full of gratitude - I am Miss Connecticut USA 2019!!! So many thank you’s to come, but right now I am going to sleep with this crown and sash on! Let’s get to work on the best year ever!!!”
Acacia is a defined beauty with brains and is all set to handle the burden to attain this grand success of winning the title of Miss USA 2019. She is having all the good luck and good hopes from all the people in Connecticut and for sure leave a benchmark for others.
