The grand finale of Miss Cook Islands 2018 will be held of 15th September 2018 where 7 contestants will be fighting for the national title and a chance to represent Cook Islands at Miss World 2018 to be held on 8th December 2018 in Sanya, China. The winner will be crowned by Miss Cook Islands 2017 Alanna Smith.

The event will be held on Avarua National Auditorium where along with the crowning of Miss World Cook Islands 2018, the event will also witness the crowning of Miss Earth Cook Islands 2018 and Miss International Cook Islands 2018.

Before the finale, Angelopedia has selected the Top 3 contestants who are most likely to win the pageant and represent Cook Islands at the three prestigious international beauty pageants. Those 3 contestants are as follows –

Allandra Donnelly

Allandra Donnelly is 19 years of age from the Enuamanu tribe. She is an Operations Manager by profession for 3 family businesses, namely Courtyard Café, Bus Stop Café and a market stall. During her free time, she likes to go surfing, reading and painting landscapes. Allandra is also into Cook Islands dancing and singing.

Allandra is passionate about biomedical engineering and because of her dad’s love of fixing cars and bikes, she is an expert in problem solving and engineering. She has had prior experience in the pageant world as she was the youngest entrant in Miss Tiare competition in 2012. Allandra has also participated in Dancer of the Year (2013), Te Maeva Nui 2014 (Mitiaro) and The Voice 2014. With her experience in stage presence and problem solving, this pageant will be a cake walk for Allandra.

Abbellee Dashwood

Abbellee is 18 years of age from the Ngati Teaka Tauira (Atiu) tribe. She was born in a family of 4 elder brothers so she considers herself as a tom boy. Abbellee was brought up in rural New Zealand where she always listened to her parents talk about ‘home’, so when she moved back to Cook Islands, she did not take long to adjust.

Abbellee is a receptionist and waitress by profession and when she is not doing her job, she enjoys a reading novel of the criminology genre, playing basketball and spending time with her pets. She also loves listening to music, playing chess and watching rugby games in general. With her wide range of hobbies and knowledge, she will surely woo the judges and become a favourite.

Reihanna Koteka-Wiki

Reihanna is 26 years of age from the Vaka Takitumu, Ngaputoru tribe. She is self-employed and has travelled in over 40 countries. Reihana was born in Israel and has seen diverse cultures and architectures all around the world. She has a major in Psychology from Auckland University.

Reihana enjoys baking when she moved back to her hometown and used to sell cake pops to a fellow student. She is the manager of Liliko’i Bikini, and while she is not working, she goes out for mountain trekking and indulges in fitness activities. Reihanna is also a competitive swimmer and had won many medals while competing in Kenya. With her experience with different cultures and her ability to be a leader and manager, she will certainly woo the audience and make a mark.
