The magnificent gala of Miss Cosmopolitan World 2017 concluded tonight with the crowning of Sheryltha Pratyscha as the winner. Sheryltha managed to defeat twenty-nine other beauties competing for the title and was crowned by the outgoing queen, Miss Cosmopolitan World 2016, Veronika Markova from Russia. The finale was held at Putrajaya Marriott Hotel in Malaysia on 16th September 2017.
Sheryltha, who is just 22 years of age, was already amongst the hot favourites to win the title as per several pageant experts. She also won the special awards for Miss Elegance and Best National Costume.
It was a grand event with thirty gorgeous ladies sashaying the ramp in swimwear and evening wear in front of the audience cheering for their favourites and the jury.
Her court included -
First runner-up - Myat Noe Chit from Myanmar
Second runner-up - Semoy Defour from Trinidad & Tobago
Third runner-up - Stephanie Ellen Almeida from USA
Fourth runner-up & Miss Popularity - Chanelle Wong from Malaysia
Top 10 finalists also included Kseniya Makovskaya from Russia (who also won Miss Social Media award), Emilia Dobreva from Kosovo, Chelsea-Anne Lewis from Australia, Krystelle Mhae Malgapo Ignacio from the Philippines, and Priyadarshini Borah from India (who was also Miss Talent winner).
Raminta Leonaite from Lithuania won the Miss Photogenic award.
Out of the Top 10 favourites picked by Angelopedia, six beauties made it to the Top 10 finalists.
