Ugochi Ihezue, Miss Kebbi, has been crowned as the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2017 at the finale of the pageant held last night at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. She defeated 35 other contestants to clinch the crown and the title and was crowned by and succeeds Unoaku Anyadike, Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2015. Unoaku has been the reigning queen for two years as the pageant was not held last year.
Ugochi will now represent Nigeria in the Miss World 2017 pageant scheduled to be held on 18th November 2017 in Sanya, China. She also won the Model of the Year special award.
At the same event, Stephanie Agbasi, Miss Sokoto, was declared as the first runner-up and was titled Miss Universe Nigeria 2017. She is now all set to compete in the next edition of the Miss Universe pageant. She also bagged the Best Traditional Costume award.

Fourth runner-up & Best in Evening Wear - Rebecca N. Hampson, Miss Bayelsa
Top 15 finalists also included Ese Amromawhe - Miss Abuja, Ugomma Ukegbu - Miss Imo, Maristella Okpala - Miss Anambra, Orumwense Daniella - Miss Ondo, Natasha Akpokona - Miss Lagos, Mary-Anne Unoka - Miss Nasarawa, Analoo Ibadin - Miss Edo, Jessica Okeke - Miss Abia, Sophia Dike - Miss Kwara and Sophia Ogei - Miss Niger.
Other special awards given at the went were Miss Photogenic - Maristella Okpala, Miss Anambra and Miss Amity - Ndah Gift, Miss Yobe.
