Miss World Spain 2017, the fifth edition of the Miss World Spain pageant under the new franchise, is set to conclude with the finale tonight which is being held in the province of Gerona in Spain. Miss World Spain 2016, Raquel Tejedor Meléndez, will crown her successor at the conclusion of the finale, and the beauty crowned tonight will represent Spain in Miss World 2017.
As we know Spain recently won the Miss World title in 2015, when Mireia Lalaguna was crowned Miss World 2015 and that was the first ever Miss World title won by Spain. Given that, Miss World Spain 2017 does get a lot of attention from fans in Spain as well as across the globe.
Fifty-three gorgeous beauties from all across Spain are competing for the crown tonight, and the contestants are Fátima Pérez, María Sánchez López, Bárbara Imfeld Elvira, María González Sánchez, Ane Nebreda, Malú Sánchez, Clara Sáez, María Gamero Rodríguez, Carla Olivares, Alba Díez, Claudia Izquierdo, Coribel Pérez, Asunción Martín Bullón, Raquel Iboleón, Katixa Elizegui, Jessica Herman Ruiz, Clara María Sánchez Martínez, Alba Ruiz, Yohanna León Collado, Naiara Monroy, Judit Pérez, Rocío Barea Calero, Nidia Cerrillo Peláez, Sara Huelva, Cristina Calvo, Elisabeth Tulián, Marina Ruiz, Begoña Fernández, Nereida Ramírez, Irma Álvarez, Erika Dopico, Carlota González, Paula Delgado, Jennifer Medalle, Sheyla Gutiérrez, Cristina Tortosa, Nerea Egozkue, Ana Valencia, Paula Riba, Tamara Balsa, Cristina Escudero, Xinia Escribano, María Barcia, Alicia Rubio, Verónica Martínez, Gara Aguiar Wilhelmsson, Judith Morales, Nahjara Ándujar, Mercedes Riviera, Ana Guijarro, Erica Sánchez, and Elena Andrés.
Besides crowning the winner, a number of special awards, viz. Miss Talent, Top Model, Miss Sports, Beauty with a Purpose, and Best in Swimsuit, will be given during the finale.
