Miss Costa Rica 2018 will be the 64th edition of the National beauty contest of Costa Rica to hold its finale on 27th April 2018 where nine beauties will compete for the national title. The winner of the competition will represent Costa Rica at Miss Universe 2018.

The reigning Miss Costa Rica is Elena Correa Usuga who will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. Elena Correa was appointed to represent Costa Rica at Miss Universe 2017 after the franchise owner of the pageant postponed the competition due to complications in broadcasting schedule.

From Escazú, the 27-year-old Natalia Carvajal will represent Saint Joseph at Miss Costa Rica 2018 as the official representative. Standing 171 cm tall, Natalia is a host and television presenter by profession. A fun fact about this breathtaking beauty is that she has also participated in the dance reality show Dancing with the Stars.

Natalia is not new to the world of pageantry; she was the winner of Miss Eco Universe 2016. On her win, she remarked, “I learned the greatest lessons of self-esteem in a beauty contest.”
