Talking about her experience till now at Miss Costa Rica, Keissy emotionally exclaimed, “Miss Costa Rica has been the most important experience for my 18 years since thanks to it I grew personal and professionally, I met people and experienced things that until now had not had a chance, today I can say that we do not give up what our heart desires as long as it is good for our lives and does not alienate us from our goal and always keep faith in that we are capable of achieving what we long for, since there is no obstacle that we cannot overcome with faith and with the help of God.”

The reigning Miss Costa Rica is Elena Correa Usuga who will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. Elena Correa was appointed to represent Costa Rica at Miss Universe 2017 after the franchise owner of the pageant postponed the competition due to complications in broadcasting schedule.
