Growing up as the youngest of 3 girls, Quinto was raised by a stern father and a strong-willed mother. She learned the value of hard work from her father. She and her sisters had to earn allowances by doing household chores, and would then save up those allowances to buy the things they wanted. This virtue made them grow up as strong independent women. She learned to be not afraid to be vulnerable from her mother. Her mother was as strong as she was soft-hearted. She taught Quinto that one could be both simultaneously.

The most memorable moment of Quinto’s life was when she qualified as a finalist for Miss Philippines Earth 2018. She is happy enough to be a delegate, even if she doesn’t win, as she has always wanted to be a part of a national pageant.

According to Quinto, what really sets her apart from the other finalists, and the reason why she wants to win is that she recognizes that the title goes beyond the crown. If granted the opportunity to win the title, She promises to fulfil the organization’s mission, which aims to increase the level of awareness on current environmental issues and use the platform to effectively promote and be an advocate for the Earth.

In line with Miss Philippines Earth’s hashtag #MPEGoesPlasticFree, she has chosen to support her city's plastic-free initiative. She is proud to say that Quezon City prides itself on being a green city. She says, “I understand that garbage is one of the biggest -problems in my city, and that plastic waste has a huge percentage in that. By supporting and educating others about the plastic and styrofoam free ordinance, we will be able to lessen our plastic waste.”

She is driven, and ready to compete for the crown that is held currently by Miss Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco.
