At the grand coronation night of Miss Costa Rica 2018, Natalia Carvajal Sanchez was crowned as the new queen. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Costa Rica 2017 Elena Correa Usuga. The finale was held at the Studio Marco Picado of the Teletica.
The 27-year-old Television presenter will now represent Costa Rica at the upcoming Miss Universe 2018. From Ezcasu, Natalia represented San Jose at the national gala. Natalia, is the best performer, stood out for her beauty, charisma and catwalk at the competition.
Standing 171 cm tall, Natalia was also the winner of Miss Eco Universe 2016.
At the end of the show, three finalists were left out of the nine contestants:

The qualifying jury was made up Daniel del Barco, Laura Segura, Joaquín Iglesias, Adriana Chávez and Christian Herrera.
The crown was designed by George Bakkar. It is a piece inspired by the floral nature of the country, created in silver and made by hand with 50 flowers of five different sizes and with natural pearls. This beautiful jewel has a value of 4 million 700 thousand colones and is accompanied by a spectacular necklace.
