Miss Costa Rica 2019 is all set to host its grand coronation night on 19th July 2019 in La Sabrina, Costa Rica where nine contestants will compete for national crown and the opportunity to represent Costa Rica in Miss Universe 2019. This will be the 65th edition of the national event.

Miss Costa Rica 2018 Natalia Carvajal will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. She represented Costa Rica in Miss Universe 2018 and with her incredible performance she placed in the Top 10 at the coveted pageant’s finale night.

Miss Costa Rica has been actively involved in sending out the official representatives to Miss Universe pageant since 1954. In its sixty years of history, the pageant has sent a total of 56 representatives so far. Here are the contestants competing for the national crown - Axa Pineda, Evelyn Sibaja, Amanda Agüero, Monica Zamora, Brenda Muñoz, Yohanna Quesada, Catalina Freer, Chonta Mullins, Paola Chacon Fuentes.
