Miss World never leaves the chance to make the girls feel special! On 2nd and 4th of December, two contestants began a new year in their lives! Miss World Organization and the delegates all over the world rejoiced with a grand celebration at Miss Cyprus and Miss South Sudan’s birthday!

Cyprus’s Rafaéla Charalámpous and South Sudan’s Ajah Deng celebrated their birthdays at Miss World encircled by their new pals, receiving divine cakes and birthday cheers from the other competitors. The girls were more than glad at the cordial gestures by the humble people around them, and their eyes glittered with bliss and exhilaration as the girls made their birthdays a remarkable and memorable one for the days to come!
When asked by Miss Cyprus, what was her biggest wish of the year, she gleefully beamed with joy and narrated: “I celebrate my birthday with my family and friends, dinner, surprise parties, the normal things, and sweets, lots of sweets! For me, I am happiest when I am healthy and with my family, so I can’t wait to see them again soon.”

Analogously, Miss South Sudan couldn’t control her bliss and ecstatically expressed: “Back in South Sudan, on my birthday I am always travelling with my family, but this time it was different! I was with all these beautiful girls, I almost cried by the way, it was really nice. It’s always a holy day on my birthday, so we travel from the 2nd to the 7th of December, and we go to Mombassa, we have some fun, and then we come back home. I’m so happy to meet all these beautiful girls, so my biggest wish, is just to be alive, to carry on meeting such amazing people like I have done here in China, and to have new friendships.”
With just 12 days left for the coronation night, the fun-filled celebrations not only bring the girls closer, but also give the crown contenders a lapse to respite and enjoy! Who do you think will succeed Rolene Strauss on December 19’ 2015?
