The 2023 edition of Miss Czech Republic began in August this year when the registrations opened. The casting kicked off in September, 2022 in Prague where semi-finals were held and thirty women were selected in the first round. The Top 30 was then cut to Top 20 who became the official contestants of the 2023 edition.

The national pageant crowns the winner to represent the country at Miss World pageant. The rest of the Top 5 finalists will be sent to Miss International, Miss Supranational, Miss Grand International, and Miss Intercontinental.

Miss Czech Republic winner receives prizes including a year's rent of an apartment in Prague, a luxury car from Mercedes-Benz, and a 3-year work contract with Miss Factory. The reigning Miss Czech Republic Krystyna Pyszkova´ will crown her successor at the finale of the 2023 edition, the date and venue of which is yet to be announced. She is currently preparing to represent her country at Miss World 2022.
