The organization of Miss Delaware USA hosted the coronation for Miss Delaware USA 2021 on 27th June 2021 at the Laird Performing Arts Center at The Tatnall School, Wilmington, where Drew Sanclemente was crowned as Miss Delaware USA 2021 at the end of the event's finale. Drew succeeds Miss Delaware USA 2020 Katherine Guevarra and will represent Delaware in the upcoming edition of Miss USA.

Hailing from Odessa, Drew is 24-years-old. She has worked as an Abercrombie and Fitch brand representative in Delaware. Drew has earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and exercise science. Drew is currently studying medicine at Thomas Jefferson University and is excited about representing the state of Delaware as Miss USA 2021.

Drew mentioned that beauty pageants have taught her to be confident, believe in herself, stand up for herself, and to love who she is. She added, "It's taught me the importance of speaking up and being a voice for those who don't feel heard. Pageantry has allowed me to spread empowerment, motivation, and inspiration to my community. It's taught me sisterhood, service, and leadership. Pageantry has shaped the woman I am today. "

The beauty queen, who is going to be a doctor soon, states that a woman’s abilities are not defined by her physical appearance but by the way she uses the platform given to her, whether it’s a profession or a doctor or a beauty queen, to help others and make a change in society. She is an empowered woman who is a keen advocate for women and has encouraged everyone to embrace their femininity while conquering the world with their dreams. She aspires to use the platform to advance women in STEM, advocate for healthcare disparities, and to continue her work with community science education.

Drew is a strong, confident, and intelligent woman who has started to prepare for the competition and wants to be the first representative from Delaware to win the Miss USA crown and represent the USA at the Miss Universe competition. She emerges as an extremely dedicated, focused, and honest candidate who is determined to make her state and country proud. She is grateful for every opportunity that came her way and helped her shape herself into someone she can be proud of.

Miss Teen Delaware USA 2021 was also held on the same night as Sky Knox was crowned the new queen. She will represent Delaware at Miss Teen USA 2021. Ariana Zavala, Makena Schmidt, Chamya Williams, and Mia Scarangelli were adjudged as the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up respectively at the end of the event's finale.
