The Miss Exclusive organization held its grand coronation night for the 20th edition, where Limburg’s Nisa Van Baelen was crowned Miss Exclusive 2021 and won the opportunity to represent Belgium at the upcoming Miss Earth 2021. Nisa succeeds and was crowned by Kimbery Bosman Miss Exclusive 2020.

21 year-old Nisa, hailing from Tessenderlo competed with 14 finalists for the Miss Earth Belgium 2021 title. It is not the first time that Nisa competed in a Belgian national beauty pageant. On January 11, 2020, she competed in Miss Belgium 2020 at the Plopsaland Theater in De Panne, Belgium and finished in the Top 15.

Hosted by Miss Belgium 1995 Véronique De Kock, 44, the Miss Exclusive 2021 coronation night took place at Sotto’s in Zottegem, East Flanders, Belgium on June 26th, 2021. The ceremony was attended by reigning Miss Earth 2020 Lindsey Coffey of Pennsylvania, USA and reigning Miss Earth-Fire 2020 Michala Rubinstein of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Nisa’s social media presence is really commendable. She also won the Miss Social Media award that required fan votes, earning a spot at the semifinals. Her huge following on social media will be one of her advantages when she gets to Miss Earth as fan votes has been incorporated for the Best in Eco Video Award.

Belgium has been competing at Miss Earth since 2014 and is yet to have a Miss Earth placement. The newly crowned queen, who advocates for recycling, will now compete for Belgium’s first Miss Earth crown this December.
