Tara Hashim Jensen, who was the first runner-up in Miss Denmark 2018, has replaced the originally crowned Louise Sander Henriksen as the new queen. Tara will now represent Denmark in Miss World 2018 to be held on 8th December 2018 in Sanya, China.
At the conclusion of the finale of Miss Denmark 2018, held on 12th September 2018, Louise Sander Henriksen was crowned Miss Denmark 2018. But just after a few days of being the reigning queen, Louise resigned from her post citing personal issues as the cause of her decision.
Miss Denmark Organization took to their Facebook page to announce the sad news and said, “It came as a huge shock & disappointment that Louise Sander Henriksen chose to resign from her title as Miss Denmark 2018. We are all very surprised and sad to hear about the news. As Louise Sander Henriksen already has pointed out, I would like to confirm that her resigning has nothing to do with a conflict between us and I really hope that she will sort out her personal issues. I still consider Louise as a wonderful young woman with an amazing personality, talent and big potential and I wish her only the best!”
