All you Indian beauty pageant fans who are waiting for the list of contestants of Miss Diva 2015, the wait is over. But before you could hop with joy, let us warn you, the list is highly depressing and extremely saddening. We wish we could have introduced you to 14 stunning beauties, but instead there are 14 average contestants. You would expect the contestants to be of the horizon level, when you say the winner will be representing the country at the Miss Universe. But yea, here your expectations have been ruined to death. Let me not kill your hopes already, and give you a sneak peek into the finalists.
The 14 contenders have been selected from all across India and the winner will represent India at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant. This year Miss Diva Organization will select only the Miss Universe representative. The 14 delegates to compete at the Miss Diva 2015 are - Rashi Yadav, Shivani Jadhav, Shivani Shetty, Aileena Catherin Amon, Apporva Sharma, Naveli Deshmukh, Hemali Soni, Nancy Gupta, Simran Khandelwal, Aishwarya Dhavale, Pooja Bisht, Natasha Assadi, Ankita Thite, Hida Siddiqui.
Noyonita Lodh of Bangalore is the reigning Miss Diva 2014. She went on to compete at Miss Universe 2014. Last year’s second runner-up Asha Bhat went on to win Miss Supranational 2014. Like Last year, former Miss Universe Lara Dutta will mentor the Miss Diva 2015 contestants. The finale of Miss Diva 2015 will take place on October 15’ 2015 in Mumbai. The pageant will be presented in the form of reality show. India has till date managed to produce two Miss Universe –Sushmita Sen 1994 and Lara Dutta 2000. The reality show will be aired on Romedy now and finale will be aired on Fox Live. Winner of Miss Diva will receive a Yamaha Fascino Scooter, Rs. 5 lac cash and the crown.
