The organization of Liva Miss Diva is all set to host the 9th edition of Miss Diva, i.e., Miss Diva 2021, where delegates from all over the country will compete for the national crown and earn their chance to represent India at Miss Universe and Miss Supranational. The winners will succeed Miss Universe India 2020 Adline Castelino, Miss Supranational India 2020, Aavriti Choudhary, and runner-up Neha Jaiswal for the title.

The organization has grabbed the attention as they recently announced that trans women are now permitted to compete and that the height requirement has been reduced from 5'5” to 5'4” and above. They took to their official social media account to announce the historic changes made in the history of Miss Diva by writing, "For the first time in Miss Diva history, we are welcoming applications by transwomen! In addition to this, the height criteria have been altered to include all women over 5’4". We are ecstatic about making this milestone announcement!"

The organization of Miss Diva believes passionately in the power of beauty to change attitudes, project confidence, and empower young women by instilling a sense of uniqueness and encouraging self-expression, creating significant and aspirational value among the youth. The revised format tactically merges online and offline experiences, powered by strategic partnerships, thereby promoting the pageant’s cherished ideals of women's empowerment, talent promotion, social influence, and community building.

The Miss Diva organization stated, "The improvised eligibility criteria redefine the scope and the relevance of beauty by adopting an inclusive and holistic approach, thereby appealing to a wider audience and social constructs. We encourage and call on transgender women to participate in the pageant and celebrate the essence of individuality. "

Adline Castelino recently represented India at Miss Universe 2020 in the United States and, after her spectacular performance throughout the competition, she was adjudged as the third runner-up at the end of the event's finale. With Adline's placement as third runner-up, the Indian beauty broke the record for India's placement in the top spot after 20 years.
