Mumbai’s Aavriti Choudhary was crowned Miss Supranational India 2020 on 22nd February 2020. She succeeded and was crowned by Miss Supranational India 2019 Shefali Sood. Also present to crown her was none other than Miss Supranational 2019 Anntonia Porsild from Thailand.

Aavriti has been preparing herself to represent India at 12th edition of Miss Supranational pageant i.e. Miss Supranational 2021 scheduled to take place later this year. The edition was originally scheduled at the end of 2020 but was postponed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Lately, as informed by the Miss Diva Organization, Aavriti developed symptoms of Covid-19 and has been unfortunately tested positive for the same yesterday. The organization took to their social media announcing her test results in a post and urging people to maintain social distancing, stay indoors and to earnestly follow all government protocols. “Sending you our warm love and wishes for your good health. We pray for your speedy recovery. Get well soon!” they added wishing Aavriti a speedy recovery and fullness of health.

Aavriti also mentioned the news on her Instagram, she shared, “Hi everyone, recently I developed covid like symptoms and unfortunately tested positive for the same. I have quarantined myself and am taking necessary precautions to get better. If you have come in contact with me in the past week, I urge you all to please get yourself tested. I will fight my way through this, until then I request you all to wear your masks and follow government protocols. Stay Supra-Safe!”

The 23-year-old Mumbaikar, a student from the Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore, M.P and is also working as a model. The absolutely stunning curly-haired beauty also made her place in the competition at the very beginning of the competition. Her tall frame and confidence worked well in her favour throughout the whole competition. With her experience in the fashion Industry in India and her amazing pursuance at the finale of Miss Diva 2020, Aavriti proved her worth greatly.

This diva’s performance at the national pageant was remarkable, from her walks to her talks, everything was just so effortless. She did it really well. Her interesting look combined with amazing skin tone and curly locks made her a stand out.

 The diva will now represent the country at Miss Supranational 2021 and we are sure that she is going to mark her place in the international competition. Until then, we hope each new day brings her closer to a full and speedy recovery.
