Miss Diva organisation, on Sunday night, crowned Divita Rai the new Miss Diva Universe 2022. She won the title at the 10th anniversary of the Miss Diva Universe pageant. She will now represent the country at the 71st Miss Universe pageant.

Divita is 23 years of age and hails from Karnataka. After winning the title, Divita said, “She expressed her happiness and said, “It feels crazy. I finally have this [crown] on my head. It is unbelievable, I really have no words. It's crazy.” Divita believes in the quote, ‘fear change, embrace life, and live each moment to its fullest.’

Divita is an architect by profession who studied at the Sir JJ College of Architecture. Apart from being a professional model and architect, Divita loves to play badminton, basketball, paint, listen to music and read. Not new to the pageant, Divita competed at Miss Diva Universe 2021 and placed as the second runner-up.

Also in attendance was Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu who crowned her as her successor at the event. Since it was the 10 year anniversary, a lot of other former beauty queens also graced the stage with their presence. Also at the event, Pragnya Ayyagari was crowned Miss Diva Supranational 2022 as she became the official representative of India at the upcoming edition of Miss Supranational.
