Beauties for a cause! Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Ong is in her hometown Manila, wherein she joined the annual Manila Bay Clean-Up, days after her arrival from a series of international trips in the American continent.
On Aug 20’ 2016 morning, the Pinay beauty was seen together with the Miss Philippines Earth 2016 winners and volunteers. They removed trash from the bay and threw mud balls into connecting rivers that will inhibit the growth of algae and break down any sludge and silt in the pond - for clear and healthy water.

Before coming to her native place Manila, the reigning earth warrior recently visited USA wherein she fulfilled a series of Environmental and Social advocacies promoting “Beauties for a Cause”.
The beauty queen took part in number of socio-environmental activities of the Miss Earth Colombia organization along with Brittany Ann Payne, Miss Earth 2015 and Miss Earth Water 2015, respectively.
The week-long activities ended with the coronation of the new Colombian Earth Warrior Michelle Gomez.
At the gala ceremony of Miss Earth Colombia 2016 reigning Miss Earth Angelia Ong, Estefanía Muñoz (Miss Earth Colombia 2015), Kimberly Wever (Miss Earth Aruba 2015), and Brittany Ann Payne (Miss Earth Water 2015) also marked their presence and witnessed the coronation of the newly crowned Miss Earth Colombia.
