The 2016 Miss Earth contestants were presented on October 11, just few days before the event, to the press. The conference was held at the Diamond Hotel in Manila. The gorgeous backdrop of the bayside is perfect scenery to capture on camera. The contestants of Miss Earth beauty pageant were seen adorning red bikinis and carried them really well with a dash of their own personality, and a touch of their stunning smiles with which they won the hearts of the press.

The press also voted their favourites. Imelda Schweighart of Philippines and Katherine Elizabeth Espín of Ecuador were, both, voted as the Darling of the Press. Stephanie de Zorsi from Venezuela won the silver medal while the bronze medal was claimed by Corrin Stellakis from the United States.

The 2016 Miss Earth pageant finals will be held on the 29th of October 2016. This will be the 16th edition of the beauty pageant which is one of the best five and most reputed international beauty contest in the world. The coronation event is scheduled to be hosted at the Mall of Asia Arena in the Pasay City of Philippines where Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Ong of Philippines will crown one of the 80 contestants of this year.
