Hannah’s Beach Resort held a mini pageant for the contestants of the national delegates contesting at the Miss Earth 2016 beauty pageant. It was a great day for the contestants who got a chance to experience the excitement involved during the actual finals.
The Miss Earth 2016 contestants had a great time posing in swim wear and gorgeous long gowns. Apart from some special awards, the main title holder of Miss Earth Hannah’s Beach Resort was declared. Three runner-ups were also announced at the Hannah’s Beach Resort event.
From among the candidates the one beauty which won everyone’s hearts was Miss Ecuador, the 23 year old Katherine Elizabeth Espín. The first runner up was Corrin Stellakis, 19, from the Unites States of America. Philippines’ Imelda Schweighart was adjudged the second runner up.
The pre-pageant event was held at the Hannah’s Beach Resort and Convention Center, which is located in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. The resort is situated with a gorgeous view of the famous Blue Lagoon.
The winners of this year’s Miss Earth beauty pageant will be announced at the night of the finals on the 29 October. This will be the 16th edition of the Big5 international pageant. The venue which has been decided to host the grand event is the Mall of Asia Arena in the Pasay City of Philippines.
This year, more than 80 national representatives have contested for the event. Philippines’ Angelia Ong, Miss Earth 2015, will crown her successor on the coronation night.
