It looks like the beauty queen is gaining mass popularity after winning the coveted title. It’s amazing to see how Katherine fulfils all the criteria of being a true beauty queen.
Recently, El Universo, the most prestigious newspaper in Ecuador, listed Katherine as one of the most influential and important characters of 2016 due to her successful triumph at Miss Earth. Katherine Espin of Ecuador won the second Miss Earth crown for her country in October 2016, and not just fans from Ecuador but the whole world celebrated her victory. Katherine stepped up on her duties right after her crowning, and the beauty queen has been actively attending events as the reigning Miss Earth. In just 2 months, Katherine has made her impression as a true beauty queen.
Katherine was selected from amongst 83 contestants who contested to get the coveted title after Angelia Ong, the Miss Earth 2015. Beautiful Katherine of Ecuador was crowned as the Miss Earth 2016, on 29 October’ 2016 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines, where she was honoured with the title and dazzle in the crown, along with Miss Earth Air Michelle Gomez of Colombia and Miss Earth Fire Bruna Zanardo of Brazil.
