The Miss Earth organization is all set to host the 21st edition of the Miss Earth pageant on 21st November 2021, where Lindsey Marie Coffey of the United States will crown her successor at the end of the event. Gorgeous and stunning eco angels from countries all over the world will compete for the coveted crown.

While this year’s batch consists of stunning eco angels have been appointed and crowned to represent their respective countries at the Miss Earth 2021 pageant, some of these divas have stood out as potential winners and emerged as frontrunners for the crown with their grace and charm.

So, without any further ado, here are our favourites for the Miss Earth 2021 crown, in no particular order –

Miss Earth Philippines 2021 Naelah Alshorbaji

Representing the Parañaque City, Naelah is a Filipino-Syrian beauty who works as a professional model and is also a real estate agent. The diva is 23-years-old and stands 172 cm tall. She is a professional model and has worked in television and print advertisements.

She is not new to pageants as before joining Miss Philippines Earth 2021, she won Miss Parañaque 2019 and placed fourth runner-up in the Miss Manila competition in 2017. Naelah said she joined Miss Philippines Earth so she could have “a greater platform to promote the change I want to see in the world.” Aside from being a commercial model, Naelah also promotes mental health awareness through her Youtube channel ‘Master Peace with Naelah.’ She’s also into various sports such as boxing, arnis, golf, aerial yoga, and surfing.

She advocates to reduce current plastic waste by turning them into usable products. “I chose this because I believe that plastic is a serious issue that needs to be tackled with a better solution. We may need to stop single use plastic but we also need to figure out how to deal with the current plastic waste overload,” she explained.

 

 

Miss Earth Canada 2021 Alice Li

Alice, who recently represented China at the Miss Supranational 2021 pageant in Poland last month, is 27 years-old and hails from Beijing. She is an entrepreneur, businesswoman who currently works as a Senior Associate in audit at PwC Canada, specializing in the asset management industry. Alice graduated from the University of Toronto as the Class Valedictorian and has completed both her undergraduate and graduate studies in accounting.

The diva is not new to the world of pageantry as she represented Canada in Miss Intercontinental 2018 and later represented China at Miss Global International 2019 in Jamaica. She was also one of the finalists at Miss Universe Canada 2020 where she was highly applauded for her performance but unfortunately wasn’t placed.

One of the environmental advocacies that she is very passionate about is reducing air pollution. “Transportation is one of the largest sources of air pollution in Canada. I really want to encourage everyone to take public transportation whenever possible. As a Toronto Subway Musician, I provide live entertainment to millions of commuters every day, hoping to brighten everyone’s travels. A lot of people would be surprised to know how convenient, easy, and environmentally-friendly public transportation can be. I want to be a positive role model and remind others that a little effort from everyone goes a long way. When each and every one of us truly believes in the impact that we can make, that is when we can spark societal change,” she shared.

 

 

Miss Earth Dominican Republic 2021 Nicole Franco

27 years-old Nicole has a Bachelor of Advertising, Professional Makeup Artist and Animal Advocate; she has 6 dogs and 3 cats which have been rescued from the streets. Representing Distrito Nacional during the final of the Miss Dominican Republic Earth 2021, where she was adjudged as the second runner-up, she was also the winner of the bands Miss Personality and Beauty for a cause, a band that is awarded to the best environmental social work project.

Speaking about her advocacy, she shared, “The Dominican Republic ranks as the 11th most vulnerable country against the effects of climate change, I am focused to promote decisive actions to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions in our country, amongst many partner institutions and businesses, my most recent initiative involved the recycling of over 4 tons of glass partnered with a local eco store.”

 

 

Miss Earth Thailand 2021 Baitong Jareerat Petsom

28 year-old Baitong stands 168 cm tall and an architecture graduate at the King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.She is the Environmental Ambassador for the Green World Foundation and the Sustainable Ocean Ambassador from United States. She is also the founder of a sustainable lifestyle brand called Baanbaan.

Baitong wants to speak on behalf of nature. “I want everyone to know, it can't wait. We have to change our behavior. Change the way we live. Saving the world is like helping yourself,” she says. Baitong’s experience and advocacy will jointly make her one of the strongest competitors for the Miss Earth title.

“After having been appointed in the position of SOA (Security Operations Associate) By UNDP (United Nations Development Programs) and Environmental Ambassador of the Green World Foundation. I were enlightened that I were not only doing forest conservation, marine conservation but I were also dedicated to creating truly sustainable change. Because of conservation project to protect the environment couldn't do by one side. It's about putting everything together. So, all I have to do is a dedication to support a sustainable environment,” she shared.

 

 

Miss Earth USA 2021 Marisa Paige Butler

27 years-old Marisa Butler graduated from Stonehill College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Business. She now is living and working in California and is of French, English, Scottish, Irish, and Native American (Mic Mac) heritage.

Marisa does not need any introduction in the pageantry as her journey speaks for itself with all of her accomplishments. This stunner will get a last chance to represent her country at an international platform, and Miss Earth no less, due to age restrictions. Standing 173 cm tall, Marisa will be a force to be reckoned with at Miss Earth 2021.

Through her advocacy, ‘The Collective Earth’, she aims to teach four vital values she has learned through her own experiences with Mother Earth: Empathy, Love, Respect and Accountability. “I believe the best way to learn these values is through meaningful experiences within nature. Only when we act as a Collective Earth - with love, empathy, respect and accountability for all – can we truly begin to win the fight for Mother Earth,” she shared.

 

 

Miss Earth Spain 2021 Marina Fernandez

Marina is 29 years old and stands 172 cm tall and speaks Catalan, Spanish and English. She is a professional ballet dancer and a jurist with a Master’s Degree in Law. She is a graduate from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in Cerdanyola del Vallès, Cataluña. She was also a Real Federación Española de Gimnasia athlete. Not new to pageantry, she was crowned Miss World Barcelona 2018 and participated in Miss World Spain 2018, where she finished in the Top 15. Marina is a confident, experienced and determined woman and will definitely prove to be a strong contender at the Miss Earth 2021 platform.

Her advocacy is based on the protection of the environment through the laws. “As a lawyer I want to promote compliance with the laws that take care of our Earth and our habitat. Human actions over the years have seriously damaged our planet and we must be aware of how alarming it is if we do nothing to prevent it. Fortunately, in recent years we are progressing favorably and being more aware of the care of our Earth, of each action. But that is why we must adjust to an environmental plan, safe and with a view to the future, and regulate it through laws that can reach the whole of society to guarantee respect for our planet,” Marina mentioned.

 

 

Miss Earth Portugal 2021 Gabriella Rodriguez

Gabriella Rodriguez is a 22-year-old, Venezuelan model who moved to Portugal last year. The beauty queen dreams of making the world a much better place than the country she came from and believes that the platform given to her will help her to make a significant change in society.

“On my journey I want to be an inspiration and be able to reflect on people all over the world all the love I have for preserving our planet. By uniting and understanding the role of each being in nature, we can preserve the life of our mother earth. We all have an inherent duty to protect life and preserve all the history that inhabits it, because the value of Mother Earth is incalculable, without her we lose the identity of what we once were, what we are and what we will be. Therefore, I have been dedicated to supporting social and environmental organizations that help contribute to a better society, developing activities that increase awareness, empathy and respect for our planet and for all ecosystems and living beings that inhabit here,” she shared.

 

 

Miss Earth Panama 2021 Jillyan Chue

Hailing from Colón, Jillyan is 25 years-old and is a model and a social communication graduate from the Universidad Catolica Santa Maria La Antigua. In 2018, she received her diploma in digital strategy and communication.No stranger to pageants, Chue was Miss Teen Beauty Panama Universe 2013. In 2017, she was Reina del Festival Nacional de la Belleza and Miss Panama Petite. She represented the country at the Miss Universe Petite 2017 contest and finished as a runner-up.

Jillyan’s advocacy revolves around people who want to learn more about nature, creating individual and collective awareness, a beautiful opportunity to contribute with coexistence and connection with nature. Chue will definitely bring out a strong delegacy at the pageant this year as Panama is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Earth pageant.

 

 

Miss Earth Brazil 2021 Cássia Adriane

21 years-old Cássia is a model and graphic designer. She has participated in several projects in institutions focused on social and environmental actions. She was responsible for the environmental and oral education of these children, teaching them to dispose of garbage and residues in the correct place, preserving nature and reusing recyclable materials.

She advocates to encourage people to have sustainable habits and be a spokesperson for social and environmental causes in my country. She is also currently involved in the ‘Quem Ama Cuida’ project, which has the support of the city hall and partners, is aimed at environmental awareness, sustainability, zero waste actions, among others. In addition to volunteering in the actions, the diva seeks to encourage people to get to know the project and start changing their habits at home with small actions that can save the world.

 

 

Miss Earth Belize 2021 Destiny Wagner

25 years-old Destiny Wagner is a graduate with BA in Business Administration from Pace University, New York. She is a TV series host, influencer, brand ambassador and a print and commercial mode. She is also an accomplished poet and an author of two books. Not new to pageantry, after being adjudged as the first runner-up at Miss Universe Belize 2019, in 2020, Destiny was again placed as the first runner-up for the virtual version of Miss Universe Belize 2020.

In 2020, Destiny collaborated with 20 other Belizean writers and wrote ‘Belizean Blues’ this year in efforts to raise awareness and funds to combat Unequal education and Child hunger issues in Belize. The book is filled with poems and short stories inspired by the lives of everyday Belizeans and 100% of the proceeds have gone towards a non-profit organization, Operation Kingdom. Operation Kingdom is dedicated to combating child hunger and fighting for equal education. Destiny’s advocacy consists of two parts; Sustainability of marine life and conservation of our natural resources and Children’s Rights.
