The 19th edition Mss Earth Argentina i.e., Miss Earth Argentina 2021 was hosted on July 30th 2021 in Buenos Aires, where 13 delegates from all over the country competed for the national crown and an opportunity to represent Argentina at Miss Earth 2021. Flora Veloso was crowned as the new Miss Earth Argentina at the end of the event, as she succeeded Estrella Danieri Miss Earth Argentina 2020.

One of the most favourite delegates for the crown this year, Flora Veloso emerged as a potential winner since the candidates were introduced. After winning the crown, she took to her social media to share her feelings as she wrote, “Extremely Happy! I am your new Miss Earth Argentina! Thank you to those who trusted me! Thank you for each like and for each comment that I asked! For your messages full of love! Your unconditional support I promise you my greatest responsibility, love and commitment.”

“For me it is an honor and a great privilege to represent all of you for one year. I promise you that I will wear this band, this medal and what they represent with great pride wherever my presence is required.I thank God for putting me in this place and giving me this great opportunity. God's plans are perfect!” she added.

21 years old Flora hails from Posadas, Misiones is a model and ballerina and has participated in several national pageants, reaping many triumphs. She was crowned Reina Provincial del Durazno in 2015. Flora was next crowned Reina Nacional del Bicentenario 2016 in Tucumán, Argentina. Later in November 2016, she was crowned Primera Princesa y Embajadora de Argentina at the Fiesta Nacional Del Arroz in San Salvador, Entre Rios, Argentina.

In the 2017 edition of the Fiesta Nacional de la Yerba Mate, she was a member of the staff of invited national queens as the national ambassador and first national princess of rice in San Salvador. Next year, in 2018 she represented Misiones at Reina Nacional del Turismo 2018 at the Monumento a los Héroes de la Independencia in Humahuaca, where she won the title, besting 12 other candidates. She also represented San Miguel at Miss Argentina 2018.

This Agentine with Asian roots has a fresh and positive personality, she can be as soft and fierce at the same time which is very tricky in pageantry. She shows immense potential to make Argentina proud and secure a top rank at the international platform. If she wins, she will end the 20-year drought of Argentina in Miss Earth after Argentina's first and last placement was in 2001 where Daniela Stucan won the Miss Earth- Fire title.
