Romina Denecken van der Veen appointed Miss Earth Chile 2021

The Miss Earth Chile organization announced in an official post, a few hours ago, that the edition of Miss Earth Chile corresponding to the 2021 process will be held next year, so that the different representatives of cities selected to date will fight to be ‘Miss Earth Chile 2022’ and thus represent the country in the international final to be held next year.

For this year’s international edition, which will take place virtually, a national representative has been appointed by the organization. Romina Denecken van der Veen, 20 years old, was selected as the national representative for the next edition of the Miss Earth 2021 pageant.



Romina is a student of Fashion Design and Marketing, Sustainability mention, at the Instituto Marangoni, in Milan, Italy. She speaks Spanish, English, Italian and Japanese and since she was little she has practiced Artistic Gymnastics, Horse Riding, Soccer and Athletics. Through his studies, he had the opportunity to live in England, Japan and now in Italy. Romina works as a model and in 2020 she was a finalist in the Miss Chile pageant. She is also a well-known content creator on Tiktok and works as a panelist on the television program ‘More Vivi than ever’ on the TV + channel.

The organization also extended the credits to the reigning queen Miss Earth Chile 2020 Macarena Quinteros as they wrote, “We want to thank the great work of our current Miss Earth Chile 2020, Macarena Quinteros and her great team at Catwalk Patagonia, for all the work done in the international edition and for supporting this beautiful cause. They always count on us. Thank you!”



Macareba Quinteros represented Chile at the first ever virtual edition of Miss Earth pageant in 2020, where her performance was highly appreciated but she remained unplaced at the end of the event. This year, Denecken van der Veen will be introduced as the representative of Chile for Miss Earth 2021 in the ‘Get To Know Me’ session in the month of October. The Miss Earth 2021 edition is scheduled to be held virtually, on 21st November 2021, where Lindsey Marie Coffey of the United States will pass on her duties to her successor at the end of the event.
