Vivianie Diaz-Arroyo crowned Miss Grand Puerto Rico 2021

After an extensive evaluation process and screening, the Miss Grand Puerto Rico organization hosted the 2021 edition on 28th September 2021 as the three finalists competed for the national title. Vivianie Diaz- Arroyo was crowned as the new queen and will soon be heading to Miss Grand International 2021 to represent Puerto Rico on the grand stage.

Vivianie is 22 years-old and a full-time student of the USC- School of Communications. She has won Miss Pre-teen Model Fashion, Miss Latin International, TBC Orlando and Miss Teen Universe representing the USA. In the recent past, she was placed among the Top 10 at Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2019 and received the special award for Best Total Look and the L'Oreal Woman of Valor Award for her work in favor of the deaf community. Vivianie can speak English, Spanish and Sign Language fluently.

 

 

In her presentation, the newly crowned queen shared that she is determined to bring pride to the country and said, “I start this wonderful journey, full of commitment, which will be my best support in this new experience. Confident in leaving a positive mark on all human beings who can listen to me and understand that life is lived with purpose from gratitude and sharing blessings.

Vivianie succeeds Miss Grand Puerto Rico 2020 Fabiola Valentin, who achieved a position in the top 10 of the last edition, earlier this year. This year, Vivianie is all set to represent the country at the Grand stage with determination, hardwork and skills. Miss Grand International 2021, the 9th version of Miss Grand International will take place on 4th December 2021 in Phuket, Thailand, where delegates from more than 60 countries and autonomous territories will compete for the title and crown for 2 weeks. At the end of the event, Miss Grand International 2020 Abena Akuaba Appiah from the United States will crown her successor.
