Nicole Franco to represent Dominican Republic at Miss Earth 2021

The Miss Tierra Republica Dominicana organization, a few weeks ago, crowned Nieves Marcano as the new Miss Earth Dominican Republic 2021, and announced a few weeks later that the new queen will represent the Dominican Republic in the 2022 edition of Miss Earth pageant. The organization had also revealed that an emerginig queen was soon to be appointed as Nieves continues as reign in office and have a year prior to her participation.

A few hours ago, the organization appointed Nicole Franco as the emerging queen, on whom falls the commitment to compete under the virtual modality trying to bring to the Dominican Republic, their first Miss Earth crown. Through a photographic session, Nicole was announced as Miss Earth Dominican Republic for Miss Earth 2021.

 

 

27 years-old Nicole has a Bachelor of Advertising, Professional Makeup Artist and Animal Advocate; she has 6 dogs and 3 cats which have been rescued from the streets. Representing Distrito Nacional during the final of the Miss Dominican Republic Earth 2021, where she was adjudged as the second runner-up, she was also the winner of the bands Miss Personality and Beauty for a cause, a band that is awarded to the best environmental social work project.

After her stint at the national pageant, the diva had expressed her gratitude as she wrote, “Of the most beautiful experiences of growth that I have been able to have, I can only say thank you, I have gained colleagues, I have gained companions of passion but I have also gained friends. Thanks to the team that left a part of themselves in each one of us.”

 

 

The 21st edition of Miss Earth will be held under the virtual modality for the second time this year. The first phase or presentation of candidates called the ‘Getting to know me’ session by Nicole will be on 1st October 2021. Miss Earth 2021 will be held on 21st November 2021, where Lindsey Marie Coffey of the United States will pass on her duties to her successor at the end of the event.
