Daniela Riquelme is all set to represent Chile at Miss Earth 2022 which will be held in November 2022 in Philippines. Representing Los Ángeles, Daniela was crowned Miss Earth Chile 2022 on Wednesday, August 10 at Centro Cultural Espacio Matta in La Granja.

Daniela Riquelme is 22 years of age. She is a medical student in the fifth year of the aforementioned career at the Andrés Bello University. She is a catwalk and self-esteem instructor. Daniela is also the creator of the "Yo está a Tiempo", a platform where she promotes self-care and prevention of breast and cervical cancer.

"I decided to create this space last year, where, always using reliable sources, and also with the supervision of my university professors, I provide information on the prevention of breast cancer and cervical cancer, for example, preventive exams, recommendations for prevention and early detection,” she said.

Miss Santiago Camila Vásquez was adjudged first runner-up and was named Miss Earth Air-Chile 2022 while the representatives of La Calera’s Damaris Contreras, and Paine’s Javiera Rivas, were adjudged the titles of Miss Earth-Water 2022 and Miss Earth- Fire 2022 respectively. Bárbara Pacheco placed fifth while the remaining finalists were Kahina Muñoz from Calama and Paula Bernal of Viña del Mar.

Daniela Riquelme succeeds last year's winner and Miss Earth 2021 Top 4 finalist Romina Denecken. She will represent her country at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant in the Philippines this November. Chile has won the Miss Earth pageant once with Hil Hernández in 2006.
