Miss Earth Colombia 2018 has begun to announce its official delegates who will fight for the national title in Bogota Colombia. The title is given to the woman who represents Colombia at the prestigious Miss Earth pageant, an initiative to promote environmental awareness.
Miss Earth Colombia 2017 Juliana Franco from Villavicencio represented Colombia at Miss Earth 2017. She also won the title of Miss Earth Water 2017 at the pageant. Juliana will crown her successor at the end of the grand finale.
From Armenia Quindio, the 24-year-old Angie Correa is the tenth official candidate of Miss Earth Colombia 2018. Standing 178 cm tall, Angie is a social Communicator Journalist and a professional model.
Angie wishes to spread awareness about the exploitation of resources by human beings and nature’s ability to take these blows by humans. Her advocacy spreads through to ask people not to harm the nature or its resources.
For solutions to the problem of neglecting and harming nature, Angie proposes, “I propose greater environmental awareness articulated with environmentally responsible actions that allow preserving the mother earth, hopes to promote social manifestations repaldadas by laws and environmental groups which are adopted by people and replicated in their generations.”
