Colombian industry as well as the pageantry around the world mourns the loss of former beauty queen Alejandra Villafañe. Alejandra, after a long battle with cancer, passed away at the age of 34.
Alejandra, who was also a prominent actor in Colombia, participated in productions such as The Chosen Granddaughter, Hidden Truth, Pa' Queerte, Nurses, The Law of the Heart and You Will Not Forget My Name.
In May 2023, Alejandra told her followers that she had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatment. Just recently, Alejandra thanked everyone who supported her at the time when she needed them the most.
In the pageantry community, Alejandra came into limelight as she was crowned Miss Earth Colombia 2014 and went onto to represent Colombia at Miss Earth 2014 and with her stellar performance, she placed in the Top 16.
Through the decade in pageantry since 2014 and then her prominent work in the Colombian TV industry, Alejandra shined bright with her hardwork and determination to make a difference in the world with her work.
Her light will always be missed! Rest in Peace, queen.
