Miss Earth organization, through their official social media, confirmed the designation of Emilie Svendby as Miss Earth Norway 2023 in August 2023. Emilie is currently preparing to represent her country at Miss Earth 2023.

Emilie Svendby is 20 years of age and hails from Brumunddal. She works a nursing home employee. Emilie is also a strong advocate for women's health. Not new to the pageant world, she was adjudged as the third runner-up at Miss Norway 2023 (Miss Universe Norway 2023) in Oslo.

Emilie, through her title and international platform, wants to advocate for other women and use her platform to assist women in their needs. Her mission is to contribute to women's health science and address various health issues women face.

Emilie succeeds Miss Earth Norway 2022 Lilly Sødal who competed at Miss Earth 2022 in Philippines and placed in the Top 20 with her stellar performance.

The finals of Miss Earth 2023, the 23rd edition of Miss Earth, will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 22 December 2023 where Miss Earth 2022 Mina Sue Choi from Korea will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
