Miss Earth 2022, the 22nd Miss Earth pageant, was held on 29th November 2022 at the Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines where Mina Sue Choi of South Korea creating history by becoming the first ever South Korean beauty to be crowned Miss Earth.

Along with her, Andrea Aguilera of Colombia clinched the Miss Earth-Fire 2022 crown as one of the elemental queens. Andrea hails from Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia. She is fluent in Spanish and English. A trained vocalist, Andrea enjoys singing along with dancing, reading and meditating.

Andrea was born on 10th March 1997, in the city of Medellín, Antioquia. Andrea grew up in a very artistic environment. She participated in singing competitions and learned how to play different instruments and also took acting courses. She is a graduate of social communication and journalism from the Luis Amigó Catholic University.

Standing 5 feet 9 inches tall, the stunning beauty holds a diploma in neuro-linguistic programming. Not new to the pageantry, Andrea represented Antioquia and competed against 25 other candidates at Miss Mundo Colombia 2021 in Bogota, Colombia and won the title. She represented Colombia at Miss World 2021 and competed against 96 other candidates in San Juan, Puerto Rico where she placed as one of the 40 quarterfinalists.

Moving forward, on 16th March 2022, she competed against 39 other quarterfinalists during the Miss World 2021 coronation night at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan where she finished in the Top 13.

At Miss Earth 2022, along with winning Miss Earth Fire 2022 crown, Andrea also won gold medal in the Darling of the Press (Americas), Best Eco Video (Americas), Miss Photogenic (Fire Group), Best in Swimwear (Fire Group), Gold medal in Swimsuit Competition (Americas), Gold medal Beach Wear Competition (Fire Group), Bronze medal at Long Gown Competition (Fire Group), Ms. Spotlight awards.
