06 Sep 2018 | Angelique Reyes

Allison Dernard was appointed Miss Earth France 2018 after she secured the position of the second runner-up at the grand coronation of Miss Elegance France 2018 held on 16th December 2017 at the M.A.CH 36 in Châteauroux, Centre-Val de Loire.

Allison will now represent France at Miss Earth 2018 to be held on 3rd November 2018 in Mall of Asia Arena, Malay, Philippines. She succeeds Miss Earth France 2017 Mélissa Strugen who failed to secure a position in the Top 16 in Miss Earth 2017.

Allison was crowned Miss Elegance Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur 2017 and then went on to become the 2nd Dauphine in Miss Elegance France 2018 which earned her the title of Miss Earth France 2018. Allison is 24 years of age and a model by profession.

Allison is a very humble and positive person who likes to take note of the smaller things as well. Upon being asked about her opinion of Miss Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco, She simple replied by saying, “Karen is a very beautiful person physically but [also] on the inside as well. During last year’s pageant, I really enjoyed her answers to the live questions. She replied honestly and she really seemed concerned by the cause. To me, it’s important.”

France is yet to win the title of Miss Earth since the commencement of this pageant. The closest France has come to the crown was when Miss Earth France 2015 Alyssa Wurtz was placed in the semi-finals at Miss Earth 2015.

We wish Allison all the best for her reign as Miss Earth France 2018 and her delegacy at Miss Earth 2018 later this year.
