Miss Earth Guyana 2019 held its grand coronation night on 15th June 2019 at the National Cultural Centre where gorgeous beauties competed for the national crown and the opportunity to represent Guyana in Miss Earth 2019. At the conclusion of the finale, Faydeha King was crowned the new queen by the outgoing Miss Earth Guyana 2018 Xamiera Kippins.

Faydeha King performed extremely well throughout the pageant and impressed everyone with her dedication to work towards a safer and cleaner environment. Just as last year, Faydeha is also going to be a strong contestant to look out for at the international level sent by Guyana.
The advocacy of the delegate is one of the most important parts of Miss Earth pageant and Faydeha’s advocacy is definitely a well-researched one. Her project focuses on improving the health and well-being of all persons living in Guyana through planting/gardening. This will be achieved by; facilitating sustainable and stable kitchen gardens generating opportunities that would increase availability of and accessibility to food, especially among vulnerable groups; promoting systems (information, education and communication/dissemination) for use and consumption of healthy foods for increased nutrition of all Guyanese and especially vulnerable groups and promoting increased institutional coordination and functioning for improved food and nutrition security.

Along with Faydeha, Cintiana Harry was crowned Miss Eco Guyana 2019. We wish our heartiest congratulations to the newly crowned queens.
