Miss Earth Italy 2018 held its grand finale on 29th July 2018 at Sesto San Giovanni, Milan where Sofia Pavan bested other hopefuls for the national title. She will now represent Italy at Miss Earth 2018. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Earth Italy 2017 Fabiana Enrica Barra.
This was Sofia’s third attempt for the crown after bagging Miss Earth Water in the last two years. A model by profession, Sofia has completed her studies from the University of Padua.

At the preliminary competition, Sofia Pavan also won the last selection of the International competition hosting the United Nations "Champion of the Earth" initiative in the world finals. Sofia was one of the most active environmentalist finalists in the LIFE team.
