Miss Earth Northern Ireland 2018 crowned their winner Christie Van Schalkwyk on 28th August 2018. She will go on to represent her county at the event finale of Miss Earth 2018 which will take place at Manilla, Philippines on 3rd November 2018.
She was also one of the finalists of Miss Northern Ireland 2015. Being a model, she also prefers to use make-up that is cruelty-free and firmly believes that no animals should be harmed for the sake of beauty. Christie promotes recycling simple products like egg cartons as an alternative to plastic pots.
Christie loves to shop, she loves food as well as nature, a very fitting choice of a Miss Earth delegate.
