Miss Earth Japan 2017 has already kicked off with a community clean-up and is all set for its finale, which is scheduled to be held on 30th July 2017. The winner will then get a chance to compete at Miss Earth 2017 which will be held on 4th November 2017 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manilla, Philippines.

The contestants are starting it right with a motive of clean environment. Delegates are keen on working on environmental issues and during the event, each one of them was dressed in green coloured outfits because green denotes “Green Environment, heathy environment”.

Various events and activities are already lined up for all the delegates so as to prepare them for the finale. Contestants will be adjudged on the basis of their skills and talent.

The outgoing queen, Ami Hachiya will pass the crown and reign to the winner. Japan has never won the title of Miss Earth in its history. However, Ami Hachiya won the award for Best National costume (Asia and Oceania) last year. In the year 2012 and 2011, Japan managed to reach in top 16 and in the year 2010, Marina Kishira was placed in top 10.

Miss Earth Japan is a beauty pageant held annually in the search of the most beautiful and environmental friendly woman in Japan with a motto of Beauty With a Cause.
